ALIEF LEGACY FUND

The Alief Legacy Fund was founded in late 2006 by a group of civic-minded professionals and alumni of Alief Hastings High School.

The volunteer members of the Board of Directors consist of talented and diverse individuals who have worked successfully in the fields of law, medicine, engineering, education, finance and information technology.

The directors and officers of the Alief Legacy Fund have pooled their eclectic knowledge and resources to establish this nonprofit organization for two primary reasons:

1. a genuine respect for Alief and its public school system, and
   
2. the hope that current Alief students receive the same opportunities the ALF founders once enjoyed in order to achieve similar professional success.

Non-Profit Organization

The Alief Legacy Fund is a federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit Texas corporation dedicated to providing educational scholarships to low-income high school students from the Alief community.  The ALF is funded by donations from the general public.
